Stresa: Celebrating the 150th anniversary of unification of Italy. The program:

Only a few days to March 17, the anniversary of the official 150 years that the law which sanctioned the birth of the Kingdom of Italy and the proclamation of 'unity of the country . Stresa is also ready to party and the municipal administration invites all citizens to attend the event and numerous expose on the balconies, the flag .

Program:

10.30 am: Meeting at the Monument to the lakeside - raising ceremony in collaboration con
il Gruppo Alpini di Stresa alla presenza del Gonfalone civico.

Ore 11.00 : Formazione del corteo diretto al Centro Internazionale di  Studi Rosminiani.

Ore 11.30 : Saluto delle Autorità e visita guidata a Villa Ducale, nei luoghi che hanno ospitato i Padri del Risorgimento Italiano.

L’Amministrazione Comunale ha programmato ulteriori eventi celebrativi, ed in particolare una manifestazione dedicata ai ragazzi delle scuole che si terrà il 14 aprile presso il Palazzo dei Congressi e il Concerto della banda Nazionale dei Carabinieri presso il Lido di Carciano il 23 luglio, con spettacolo pirotecnico a seguire.

Proseguono gli appuntamenti del venerdì con gli " Incontri Culturali di Stresa 2010/2011 " organizzati dall' Assessorato alla Cultura (tutti ad ingresso libero ), che si terranno presso il Distretto Turistico dei Laghi in Corso Italia, 18. In August 2008 he was awarded the title of Professor Honoris Causa from the Catholic University of Cordoba, Argentina.

He is the author of 990 publications in international journals and 13 books on nephrology. 470 works presented at international conferences on topics of Nephrology and Transplantation.
